Who we are
Laddr is a daily word game at laddr.online, run by an independent developer in Sydney, Australia. Contact: sidh@pawbypaw.in
What we collect
If you play without signing in: nothing is sent to us. Your progress is stored only in your own browser.
If you sign in with Google: we receive your name, email address and Google account ID so we can create your account. We store the username you choose, the puzzles you play, the words in your ladders, your scores and times, and the friends you add.
If you buy Premium: payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details — we only receive confirmation that you've paid.
What others can see
Your username and your step count for each daily puzzle appear on the public leaderboard. Friends can see whether you've played today and your step count. Your email address is never shown to anyone.
How we use it
To run the game: save your stats and streaks, rank the leaderboard, connect you with friends, and check that scores are genuine. We don't sell your data and we don't use it for advertising.
Where it's stored
Account data is stored with Supabase (database and sign-in) and the site is served by Cloudflare. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may see your IP address.
Your choices
You can play without an account. To see, correct or delete your account and all your data, email sidh@pawbypaw.in and we'll do it within 30 days.
Terms of play
Play fair: don't use bots, scripts or other tools to cheat the leaderboard, and don't pick offensive usernames. We may remove scores or accounts that break these rules. Premium subscriptions renew monthly until you cancel and can be cancelled at any time. The game is provided as-is and may change over time.
